Planned a run over Ime and Narnain. Started from Succoth up the Glen Loin trail glad of the fir trees shading the path from the hot sun. Left the shade at the top of the glen into the valley between Vane and Ime along tussocky ground to Lag Uaine. started up Ime beside the gnarly ridge soon into mist visibility got worse as I climbed, down to 30 or 40 yards, strayed a bit to the right about 500' from the ridge, and began traversing round hoping to find a more recognisable route to the top, gave up and descended back to lag Uaine realising I would have been about 100 yards short of where I wanted to get to, ran back down to Glen Loin, sun came out again and completed the loop back to Succoth, ran a couple of miles extra but a 1000' less than planned.
